ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 94 POINTS - "The 2021 Priorato is a blend of 39% Carignan, 37% Garnacha, 16% Cabernet Franc and 8% Syrah from the Paper Street Vineyard. It was matured for 19 months in 8% new French oak and 35% once-used French oak. It's scented of blackberry and blueberry jam, cured meats, violet, garrigue and pepper, with latent undertones that suggest it hasn't fully unfurled. The medium-bodied palate is powdery, supple and full to the brim with wild berry fruit that has a bursting quality due to bright pops of fresh acidity. It has a long, spicy finish, and although it's easy to drink, it has the structure to develop gracefully in bottle over the next decade."
JEB DUNNUCK 93 POINTS - "Savory red and black fruits, ground pepper, fruitcake, and some chalky mineral-like notes all define the 2021 Priorato, a rock-solid, concentrated, medium to full-bodied red based on 39% Carignan, 37% Garnacha, 16% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Syrah. It has a terrific core of sweet fruit, ripe, velvety tannins, and outstanding length. Drink bottles over the coming 8-10 years."
ANTONIO GALLONI'S VINOUS MEDIA 92 POINTS - "The 2021 Priorato impresses with a burst of cedar shavings, rubbed sage, crushed cherries and strawberries. This possesses a balanced inner sweetness up front, contrasted by zesty acidity and tart red berry fruits that saturate as saline minerals add a tactile crunchiness toward the close. An air of sweet lavender lingers over a bitter dark chocolate sensation, creating a display of contrasts as the 2021 finishes with admirable length and a gentle tannic grip. The 2021 is a blend of 39% Carignan, 37% Garnacha, 16% Cabernet Franc and 8% Syrah."
