WINE ADVOCATE 90+ POINTS The 2021 Riesling Ried Zöbinger Gaisberg 1ÖTW displays a deep, complex nose of broken rock and ripe white fruit as well as yeasty notes. Juicy and somewhat sweet in the mouth, it's quite phenolic and a bit brittle and drying on the finish. It's a good but not great Riesling that is capable of development. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork stopper. Tasted in Grafenegg in September 2022.
FALSTAFF MAGAZINE - 95 POINTS Bright green-yellow, silver reflections. Ripe yellow tropical fruit hints, delicate peach, some blossom honey, mineral undertones, inviting bouquet. Substantial, white stone fruit, fine acidity, lemony-salty finish, lingers, secure development potential.
