FEBRUARY BREWERY OF THE MONTH
Founded in 1996 in Los Olivos, California, by brothers-in-law “The Bear” Adam Firestone and “The Lion” David Walker, Firestone Walker Brewing Company began as a passionate, wine-country-inspired project in a small shed. Known for the iconic Double Barrel Ale (DBA) and oak-fermented beers, the brewery moved to Paso Robles in 2001, later expanding with Barrelworks project in Buellton and then The Propagator in Venice, CA.
The brewery produces a multitude of brews but is famously known in California for there Blond Ale known as “805 Blonde” and their unequivocal barrel aged beers such as KRIEKY BONES, SUCABA, DOUBLE BARREL BBA, ANNIVERSARY ALE, PARABOLA & MORE and is currently the 5th largest brewing company in the USA.
