This fresh, midweight red is a traditional expression of Nebbiolo from the steep slopes of Valtellina, at the edge of the Alps in the Lombardy region. Floral (you might find rose, violet, geranium) and subtly spiced, it's supremely drinkable and elegant, the most Pinot Noire-sque Nebbiolo around. Serve at a cool 60-62F and pair with Italian mountain dishes or risotto Milanese!
