100% Sangiovese, the nose on this '22 is rife with berries (strawberries, in particular!), violets, rosebush and light earth. Excellent depth! Upon tasting, the balance, length and pedigree of the wine really shines. Mixed red berries are balanced with touches of black tea and a touch of minerality. The body is light but persistent-- light tannins and acidity keep the wine light and lively. Enjoy with beef, lamb and veal. Also pairs well with cured meats and hard cheeses. The finish lasts and lasts, a fitting lengthy coda to a beautifully balanced wine.
