Aged for 15 months in 61% new French oak, the Eastside Road Neighbors highlights the part of the Russian River Valley that tends to make wines that are showy and exuberant. Notes of berry fruits, interlaced with highlights of red fruits, jump out of the glass. Woodsy aromas of cedar and earthiness add a compelling layer and texture. A burst of the berry fruits on the palate gives way to wood spices with a citrus freshness all the way to the expansive finish.
JEB DUNNUCK 96 POINTS - "The 2023 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors has a deeper red hue and a bit more of the warmth that comes from this side of the road, with more primary notes of black cherries, crushed flowers, mossy earth, and piney herbs. The palate has medium to full-bodied richness, ripe tannins, mouthwatering, ripe acidity, and a juicy feel. It’s a total charmer of a wine to drink over the coming 15-20 years."
WINE SPECTATOR 96 POINTS - "Captures the floral-laced purity of the vintage, with a beautiful beam of boysenberry and loganberry puree flanked with light briar and apple wood notes, all set against a hibiscus-, iris- and violet-filled backdrop. The succulent energy provides a great underpinning for it all. Best from 2026 through 2040. 2,600 cases made."
