JAMES SUCKLING - 97 POINTS Spicy and herbal, with aromas of white and yellow stone fruit and a balanced, delicate nature waiting to explode with time in the cellar. The palate is tense and salty, with the trademark phenolic extract drying out the sweetness. A salty, minerally finish. Playful and tantalizing, with the minerality drawing out the length and complexity. Drink or hold. Ryan Montgomery Staff Writer & Critic
ANTONIO GALLONI - VINOUS - 95 POINTS The 2025 Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese presents a tender but intriguing picture of grapefruit, tangerine, crushed lemon balm and peach on the nose. The palate proceeds in a smooth, almost balm-like fashion with such tender fill, with such generosity of fruit that now subsumes peach. With more time on the palate, the peachiness tingles a little around the edges with tangerine peel and blossoms more and more. The finish is so aromatic, so resonant with a whole hinterland of peach and citrus of exquisite beauty. (Off-dry)
