Proprietors Chuck & Anne McMinn have turned Vineyard 29 into one of Napa Valley's brightest stars. Their impressive team includes iconic winemaker Keith Emerson and lauded vineyard manager David Abreu. These two gentlemen, whether on their own or on separate ventures, have helped to bring scores for several Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons at or near the illustrious 100-point mark! This particular wine comes from Vineyard 29's Aida property, a vineyard located at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains in St. Helena. Although technically on the valley floor, this is not a flat site. Stretching from Highway 29 eastward to the Napa River, the vineyards at Aida undulate, encompassing several hillsides and knolls, lending effective water drainage, placing stress on the vines and causing them to produce lower yields of highly concentrated grapes.

Earning 96 points from Antonio Galloni, this wine is poised to be adored by connoisseurs and consumers alike for both the high score and its full-bodied, decadent, and complex profile. This wine typically sells for $284.95, however while supplies last, you can get this gem for $119.95, which is 57% off the regular price! Now that's what we call a Black Friday sale!

Rich and regal in hue, the 2021 Aida Estate Cabernet opens with the opulence of rich red plums and alluring black currants. Delving deeper, notes of scorched earth evoke a sense of its vineyard source and fresh pencil shavings adds subtle nuances. Red and black fruits dominate on the palate with commanding authority and boast unparalleled intensity and concentration that resonate long after the last sip is taken. This wine promises to age with elegance and polish over the next 20+ years.

ANTONIO GALLONI 96 POINTS - "The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate is a super-classic wine from this sector of St. Helena. Dark, sumptuous and beautifully resonant, the 2021 wraps around the palate with striking depth. Black fruit, mocha, new leather, spice and espresso all build over time. A focus on Cabernet Sauvignon over blenders in recent years has paid off big time."

ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 96+ POINTS - "The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate is very close in quality to the 29 Estate bottling, with perhaps a touch more concentration and tannin. There's less herbal nuance to the fruit, leaving black cherries to take the lead, backed by cedary oak and hints of dusty earth, while the palate is full-bodied and structured, leaving little doubt regarding this wine's potential longevity. Thankfully, the considerable tannins are fully ripe, leaving a softly dusty sensation to linger on the finish."
