ORGANIC FARMING PRACTICES
This grape is a native grape variety of the Canary Islands, as it originated from a natural crossing between the grapes Listán Blanco and Negramoll. "Listán Negro is one of the greatest ambassadors of Tenerife´s rocky terroir. We grow our vines at moderate levels of altitude in the north-west of the island.
"It’s a delightful and juicy red, with aromas of black or white pepper, dark fruits, and a strong mineral, volcanic character.
"Our favorite way to drink this is sat around a table with friends, with a charcuterie board and an evening to spare. It also matches brilliantly with the traditional cuisine of the Canary Islands; fried rabbits marinated in spicy, 'mojo rojo' sauce or with beef stew and boiled potatoes.
"Farming Practices: Ungrafted vineyards due to the absence of phylloxera, some of them are centuries old. We practice sustainable viticulture, without using synthetic chemicals. No herbicides or pesticides are applied and diseases are prevented with products of natural origin." - WINERY NOTES
