The winery is run by Jean-Marie Guffens, his partner Maine, and the cellar mater Julien Desplans (who trained at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti).
BURGHOUND - "An admirably discreet application of wood sets off the aromas of pear and apple compote, petrol and just sliced lemon. The middle weight flavors aren't particularly dense though they are relatively fine while exhibiting good length on the bitter citrus-inflected finale that is agreeably clean and dry. To enjoy after 2 to 3 years of keeping."
