WINE ADVOCATE 93+ POINTS - "The NV White Wine 2 Viognier 8th Edition is the most avant-garde wine in an already avant-garde project. It incorporates each vintage since 2011, resulting in 30% barrel-fermented wine from the 2011-2015 vintages, while all subsequent harvests are fermented in stainless steel. The nose is immediately striking with an exotic yet refined profile, evoking aromas of crushed stones, dried jasmine, nectarine, lemon zest and a hint of chlorine that dissipates with aeration. The palate exudes the clarity and focus that defines the Tara lineup, concluding with a stony, saline and delicate finish. While I feel that much of the Tara lineup is best suited for early consumption, I suspect this wine will develop beautifully in a cool cellar."
