VAN ARDI 2018 ARENI RESERVE DRY RED, ARMENIA

The Van Ardi winery was founded in 2008 by Varuzhan and Anahit Mouradian. The vineyards, located in the Aragatsotn region of Armenia, are farmed organically with a touch of biodynamics and the winemaking is minimaly invasive. The grapevines are planted in the limestone and volcanic soil on their own, non-grafted, roots. The reserve is 100% Areni aged in used barrels. It offers red and black fruit aromas and flavors leading to a long, elegant finish.
