Clos Devant le Jeu by Thibaud Boudignon offers a Savennières of great precision, where the tension of the Chenin and the purity of execution define a straight and very chiselled style. The colour is a luminous pale yellow with subtle golden reflections. The nose is fine and clean, with aromas of yellow apple, pear and lemon. With aeration, notes of white flowers, fresh quince, damp stone and a discreet touch of honey appear. On the palate, the attack is straight before stretching out on a taut, tight and perfectly structured substance. The mid-palate develops flavours of ripe white fruit and citrus, supported by lively acidity and a marked saline structure. The finish is long, straight and persistent. A very pure Savennières, focused on tension and the definition of the terroir.
