So he doesn't just make a wine because the grapes are available; he makes delicious wine because QUALITY grapes are available, and he knows what to do with them!
Sourced from the cool region of Clarksburg (east of Napa), the wine does not go through secondary fermentation in order to retain fresh acidity and sees only 6 months in neutral barrels to promote texture. With a pale yellow yue, inviting aromas of Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, and white pear, this latest release of our fan-favorite Chenin Blanc is hard to resist. On the palate, it’s all about balance—bright acidity, a smooth medium body, and layers of tangerine, ripe pineapple, and honeysuckle that carry through a long, clean finish. A go-to for sunny days and anything with a little spice. Grown in the McCormick Family Vineyard, Clarksburg. Lower in alcohol, too—just 12.1%. Truly the perfect Summer wine.
