THE REVERIES - LANCERO 9YR SINGLE BARREL 63.75% 750ML BARREL STRENGTH - STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

The Reveries is the whiskey project of Jay West, known across the bourbon community as T8ke, launched in 2025 out of Middleburg, Virginia. West sources individual barrels from Kentucky and Indiana distillers and gives them further time in Virginia's warmer, more humid climate, then bottles one cask at a time at true barrel strength with no coloring, filtering, or additives. This is a hand-picked single barrel, Cask #27091: a 9-year straight bourbon bottled at a hefty 127.5 proof (63.75% ABV). West's older stocks run brash and oaky with a peppery kick and a creamy, coating mouthfeel, and a 9-year at this proof sits right in that pocket, with enough age for deep caramel and toasted oak and enough heat that a few drops of water open it up rather than flatten it. One barrel, one bottling, and when it's gone it isn't coming back.
