HOLIDAY SHIPPING - From December 1st to December 31st no shipments will be guaranteed to arrive in the allotted timeframe due to the carriers (i.e. FedEx, UPS and GSO) not honoring guarantees on any service type. This includes Overnight, 2-Day, 3-Day and Ground Services. Should you have any questions about this please contact the store and ask for the Shipping Department or Katie at the Service Desk (800-331-3005). Thank you and have a wonderful Holiday Season.

SHIPPING DAYS - Transit times are in business days and do not include weekends. The day we ship out your order does not count as a day in transit. Saturday deliveries are possible but not through our website. Please give us a call 800-331-3005 if you need a Saturday delivery.

ORDERS TAKE 24 HOURS TO PROCESS. Please give us a call at 800-331-3005 if you need to pick up or ship your order sooner.

SOMEONE 21 YEARS OR OLDER MUST BE AVAILABLE TO SIGN FOR PACKAGES CONTAINING ALCOHOL - All shipments containing alcohol must have someone 21 years old or older to sign for the package.

TO CHANGE OR CANCEL AN ORDER - Please call 800-331-3005 ASAP. We try to process orders as quickly as possible so the best way to to cancel or change an order is by phone and NOT email.

PICTURES - All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only and the actual product may vary due to producers changing the label without our knowledge. If you are looking for a specific label please give us a call 800-331-3005. We can confirm that we have the specific bottle/label you are looking for. Once the bottle is shipped you will be responsible for the return shipping charges due to a label change.

ALL PRICES ARE NET - Most wine, liquor and nonalcoholic prices are pre-discounted. Some wines may get a further case discount. There is not a "mixed case" discount. Wines shown on this site are subject to prior sale and availability and are limited to existing inventory, i.e., there is no guarantee that an item listed will necessarily be in stock.

PRICE CHANGES / PRICING ERRORS - All prices are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors and reserve the right to change incorrect pricing. Please check with your salesperson (via email, fax or phone) to insure correct pricing.

INSURANCE - Insurance is charged to all shipping orders over $100. We charge $1 for every $100 on all shipping orders. This covers only breakage during transport and not ullage or any other problems that occur during transport. LIMITATIONS - We reserve the right to limit quantities; no rain checks.

RECEIPTS - At the completion of your order, your receipt will be emailed to you.

RETURNS - Technically, it is illegal for retailers to take wine back which is not spoiled. We do take returns on wines which are obviously corked or flawed. This is done, however, at our discretion. In these cases, store credit will be given towards additional purchases. If you feel your wine is flawed, it needs to be returned as soon as possible for evaluation. We do not honor returns on wines which have been improperly stored, mistreated or have been out of the store longer than 60 days. We also reserve the right to be the final arbiter of what constitutes a flawed wine.

CHANGES OF MIND/CANCELLATIONS ON FUTURES AND PRE-ARRIVALS - Changes of Mind and/or Cancellations of futures/pre-arrival orders are strictly subject to a 10% re-stock fee! Additionally, it's not fair to other customers to "lock-up" merchandise allocations as ostensibly "sold" or "spoken for." Pre-Arrivals and Futures are done as a convenience/courtesy to our customers and the inordinate amount of paperwork accompanying this process precludes changes of mind/cancellations if we are going to continue to offer this service to our patrons

SUMMER HEAT & WINE - (walk-in customers - Summer) The Summer months of July, August and September invariably bring warmer temperatures and their concomitant wine problems to the forefront. We are NOT responsible for wine which leave our temperature-controlled environment in perfect condition and is then brought back hours later leaking with stained labels. Summer purchases need to be kept in cool, shady places or, better yet, brought home or to your locker immediately! If need be, we will hold them for you until such time as they can be safely transferred. If you do notice leaking, set the wine bottle upright to prevent further leakage. More often than not, the wine has not been spoiled or ruined but does need to be consumed in the short term.

WINTER COLD - Please check with your salesperson regarding shipping to colder climates.

SHIPPINGTitle to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Hi-Time Wine Cellars to the purchaser in the State of California and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the import of the package from California to his/her home state. Since we own all of our inventory and therefore arrange for transportation of the wine, Hi-Time Wine Cellars is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from Hi-Time Wine Cellars, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of wine, beer or spirits. By placing an order with Hi-Time Wine Cellars, buyer authorizes Hi-Time Wine Cellars to act on buyer’s behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver the buyer’s order. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained all required permissions, paid all required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries, is legally entitled to take possession of wine, beer or spirits, is legally entitled to take quantities ordered, and authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age. Hi-Time Wine Cellars makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import alcoholic beverages into any state outside of California.

WILL CALL - Wines can be placed in "unpaid will call" for a period of 24 hours. After this, they will either be charged and moved to "paid will call" or the items will be restocked. Again, it's simply unfair to keep merchandise off the floor. Merchandise held longer than one year is subject to being re-shelved and sold with Hi-Time liable only for the original purchase price of the wine. "Paid will call" purchases are subject to a storage fee after 180 days. After 180 days, wines must be shipped or moved to bulk storage. Bulk Storage fees are $1 per month per box with a $25 transfer fee.

BULK STORAGE - Regarding wines purchased but not shipped: After thirty days from date of purchase, your order will be transferred to a temperature-controlled (55 degrees F) storage facility. The service fee is $1 per box, per month, with a minimum storage period of three months. There is an initial set-up fee of $25 (to cover paperwork, transfer and retrieval). This minimum storage fee ($1 x parcel + $1 x 3 months + $25) will be billed to your account at time of transfer. Please allow up to 24 hours to retrieve your order once it has been transferred to long-term storage

OLD WINES - We make every effort to insure the provenance of older wines purchased from collections and are more than happy to advise on fill levels, label conditions etc. However, industry standards typically stipulate that all wines older than 5 years are purchased caveat emptor . (i.e. you're responsible).
