Taylor's 2019 LBV Port is a rich ruby red with striking purple accents. At first note is the impression is of strong forest fruit with distinct scents of blackberries and brambly blackcurrant. Undertones of raspberry and cherry, as well as fragrances of wild herbs and subtle warming notes of licorice and coffee, gradually emerge from the first burst of robust, black berry fruit, which gives the nose a youthful freshness and vigor.
This Late Bottled Vintage Port, (or LBV for short) Port is aged four to six years in wood, and ready to drink when bottled Serve with rich cheese or chocolate desserts.
