A balanced inner sweetness and creamy feel are present, yet the wine remains lifted and spry as ripe blackberry fruits slowly saturate. Slightly chewy and gently tannic, it finishes with wonderful length and hints of licorice and spice. Frankly speaking, I would never peg this cool-toned and precise Grenache as a child of Paso Robles. Beautifully done."
