Made with Jayson Woodbridge acting as spiritual guide on a white winemaking journey with the very inspired and talented winemaker Ashley Holland on a holy quest for the smallest and most exquisite little vineyards.
Comprised entirely of just one clone of Chardonnay, and it is the famed Wente Clone 4. Barrel fermented, and aged in a combination of new French, used French, and acacia barrels, an intertwining of Sonoma coastal notes featuring lemon drop candy and lemon verbena are supported by a subtle oak frame that is almost perfume like and very come hither. Brimming with lime blossom, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, toasted almond, and freshly baked croissants. The palate gives way to tangerine cream, sun-kissed orchard fruits, and rich mineral density.
