Spiritus Terrae is a project from Cantina Orsogna in Abruzzo, close to the gorgeous Maiella national park. They are a cooperative of family growers who farm organically and according to biodynamic practices that are an extension of ancient farming traditions. Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is one the nobler members of the vast Trebbiano family that makes for aromatically subtle wines that are perfect with a wide range of dishes like chicken and seafood, and has no problem with creamy or buttery sauces.
Spontaneously fermented, aged in neutral vessels, low amount of sulfites added after fermentation is complete.
