Single Cask Nation began as a membership society of folks who were interested in rare, fine single cask whiskies and other spirits. Now they are a top independent bottler of spirits. The founders are Joshua Hatton & Jason Johnstone-Yellin who are both highly regarded in the whisky industry for their palates and podcast, One Nation Under Whisky. Taste Distilled in September 2009, Bottled 2025 | Cask 162418 Finished in a 2nd fill, charred red wine barrique for 3 1/2 years Teaninich is a Highland Distillery known for its unique mash filter. This creates a very clean and bright style of whisky that is quite unique. They are owned by Diageo and typically only seen in Independent Bottlers. Tasting Notes: Peach syrup and meadow hay. Tasting Notes: Dole fruit cup, fruit roll-up, and apples. The palate has a nice rock candy sweetness, a decent amount of creaminess as well. The finish has a cherry cough drop and tough leather.
