Siduri is one of our more popular domestic Pinot Noirs in the store, as they show rich, vibrant fruit profiles without going over the top. While winemaker Adam Lee is typically known for his California Pinot Noir offerings, he's been slowly upping his Oregon game, and this Willamette Valley offering shows that Adam has this region figured out!
Coming from some of the more prized vineyards in Oregon's Willamette Valley, such as Gran Moraine, Zena Crown, and Hawk's View, Adam blends from three different regions in the area. Grapes from the cooler Chehalem Mountains and Eola-Amity Hills lend fresh acidity and bright aromatics, and combined with the richer and rounder wines from the Yamhill-Carlton AVA gives a broad range of flavors that are blended together to create a wine that is simultaneously rich and zippy-the best of all possible worlds!
Aromas of cranberry, persimmon, bay leaf, black pepper lead to flavors of black cherry, boysenberry, cinnamon and hints of clove. Pleasantly firm tannins hold the long finish, which is highlighted by juicy acidity and spice.
