Can We Ship to Your State?
The regulatory environment for shipping alcohol to consumers nationwide is an extremely complex and ever changing landscape. The rules around where we can ship and can't are changing constantly. The list of states in our drop down menu at checkout is not representative of where we can legally ship. Please submit your order and our processing team will check it for compliance. Insurance is charged to all shipping orders over $100. We charge $1.00 for every $100 for merchandise shipped. This covers only breakage during transport and not ullage or any other problems that occur during transport. When ordering online the insurance is included in the shipping costs. HOLIDAY SHIPPING - From December 1st to December 31st no shipments will be guaranteed to arrive in the allotted timeframe due to the carriers (i.e.FedEx, UPS and GSO) not honoring guarantees on any service type. This includes Overnight, 2-Day, 3-Day and Ground Services. In order for Hi-Time Wine Cellars to continue providing our customers with services such as shipping, we must include certain stipulations & articles of agreement. The following conditions relate to the shipping of goods by Hi-Time Cellars. By requesting shipment of any merchandise the consignee agrees to all of the following conditions:
Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Hi-Time Wine Cellars to the purchaser in the State of California and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the import of the package from California to his/her home state. Since we own all of our inventory and therefore arrange for transportation of the wine, Hi-Time Wine Cellars is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from Hi-Time Wine Cellars, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of wine, beer or spirits. By placing an order with Hi-Time Wine Cellars, buyer authorizes Hi-Time Wine Cellars to act on buyer’s behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver the buyer’s order. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained all required permissions, paid all required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries, is legally entitled to take possession of wine, beer or spirits, is legally entitled to take quantities ordered, and authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age. Hi-Time Wine Cellars makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import alcoholic beverages into any state outside of California.
Hi-Time Wine Cellars is not liable for any damages to goods caused by weather conditions and other "Acts of God" during transportation. Because weather conditions can change drastically at any time, we also assume no liability for damage caused by changes in weather during transportation. "Acts of God" include catastrophes such as, but not limited to: plane crashes, unforeseeable delays or accidents, destruction due to domestic and international unrest (i.e. riots, war, public enemies) confiscation, quarantine or natural disaster. The experienced staff of the shipping department at Hi-Time Wine Cellars takes every precaution to insure safe transit of goods requested by our customers. If you wish to ship other than as advised by the Hi-Time Shipping department, we will do so only with a completed liability release form, which we can fax or email to you.
