Cohn Estate, where Scarecrow grapes are born, have gone into some of the most fabled wines ever to come out of Napa Valley, including Inglenook, Opus One and Joseph Phelps Insignia. Many of the vines are around 50 years old and these highly prized "Old Men" continue to produce uncommonly rich fruit—the hallmark of Scarecrow.

In addition to lofty scores at Scarecrow, Celia makes some of the highest scoring wines in Napa, including Castalia and Rewa! Harvesting individual rows over a four week period, Celia fermented each lot individually, aged the wine for 17 months in French oak barrels, crafted the blend and bottled without any fining or filtration.
