JEB DUNNUCK 93 POINTS - "I continue to love what Matt Brady does with his SAMsARA wines. Across the board, these wines see lots of stems and mostly used oak. They play in the wild, aromatic, fresher end of the spectrum while still bringing plenty of fruit and texture."

"The appellation 2021 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills shines for its Burgundian-like complexity and nuance. Crisp black cherries, cranberries, ground pepper, and forest floor notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with fine tannins and a great finish. It can be enjoyed today but will benefit from a year or two in bottle and keep through 2031."

ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 93 POINTS - "The 2021 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills comes from several different vineyards, including Bentrock, Radian and La Encantada. It was vinified with 45% whole clusters and matured in 14% new oak. It has pure aromas of cranberry, blackberry, wildflowers, orange peel and gravel dust. The light-bodied palate is silky and bright with a deep core of crunchy red berry fruit and a long, fragrant finish. 903 cases were made."
