WINERY NOTES - Like its clayey soil, Clos de la Bussière, a Domaine Georges Roumier monopoly, is fleshy and powerful. It is a wine with real strength, a body and sometimes even a certain rusticity specific to Morey Saint Denis. Dominated by black fruits (black cherries, blackcurrants), Clos de la Bussière is a tannic wine; maturity gives it length on the palate.

The 2021 vintage is no exception, with its lovely density of plummy fruit on the initial attack, nuance of liquorice and clove, and hints of smoke and earth. Roumier has extracted carefully but firmly, using half whole clusters and punching down and pumping over carefully to ensure optimal concentration."
