JASPER MORRIS 89 - 91 POINTS - "A pretty pink, more partridge eye than onion skin. Plenty of it this year and it is utterly delicious! Such a juicy fruit, all the concentration one could want, without the red wine tannins. Enough acidity, but this is a mix of fresh sweet strawberry fruit and a few rose petals. Even a hint of peach behind. Very long. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted Nov 2023."
BURGHOUND - Note: made from a direct pressing with no maceration or must bleeding. Ripe and appealingly airy aromas are comprised of cherry, raspberry, spice and a suggestion of earth character. The plump, delicious and vibrant lighter weight flavors also terminate in a clean and dry finale that isn't especially complex but it is wonderfully refreshing.
