At 14 years old, this is the oldest bottling yet from the Speyside distillery, matured in a carefully calibrated marriage of refill and rejuvenated oak casks. From the first swirl, you’ll sense its polished complexion: fragrant orchard fruit, vanilla sponge cake, puff-pastry indulgence, and a trace of green grass freshness. Then the palate unfolds with a creamy texture, buttery vanilla, orchard apple, and lemon peel, melding with white pepper spice and a toasted nut character. The finish is clean yet lingering — crisp, nutty-spiced, with a subtle grassy undercurrent and gentle oak weave. This bottling represents both precision and exploration—retaining Speyside’s sweet, mellow core while nodding to wood-driven structure. It offers collectors and connoisseurs a whisky that’s refined, layered, and, importantly, unique in the Roseisle line. Nose: Vanilla sponge, caramelised apple tart, puff pastry, honeysuckle, green orchard fruit. Palate: Buttery cakes, creamy vanilla, crisp green apples, white pepper, toasted nuts, subtle ginger.
