The name "RiNera" is short for Ribolla Nera, an old name for Schiopettino (no relation to Ribolla Gialla!). This is a fresh, medium-light-bodied red that shows off the delightfully drinkable side of the variety. Floral and red-fruited with a peppery/incense spice and a woodsy background. If you enjoy wines like lighter Loire valley Cabernet Francs, or other northern Italian reds like Teroldego or Pelaverga di Verduno, we highly recommend this "everyday" bottling from a benchmark producer of the variety. Aged in older oak barrels.

It is lifted and finessed with crisp wild berry fruits and mineral tones that come across as vividly pure, as juicy acidity enlivens the experience.
