WINE MAKER NOTES: "Clark Road Vineyard is a handmade bottling. This vineyard is on the cool west side of Anderson Valley, where Pinot Noir thrives. We are intimately familiar with this site, which we have been farming since 1999. During those years, we have learned that we can leave the fruit on the vine longer than other sites, and as we allow it to ripen, it develops the juicy acidity so essential to top-quality sparkling wine. Clark Road was partially fermented in casks (7%) and with a small amount of reserve wine aged in casks (4.8%) to give the Roederer Estate family touch. It was disgorged in December 2024 after 30 months on the yeast."

JAMES SUCKLING 94 POINTS - "Pretty aromas of grapefruit, mint, eucalyptus and white nectarines. The palate is bright, with flavors of green mangoes, citrus and red berries. Vibrant acidity and rich bubbles. A powerful yet nuanced wine that is a joy to drink."
VINOUS 94 POINTS - "The 2021 Clark Road Vineyard is a powerful, deep sparkling wine. Green apple, jasmine, white peach, chalk and slate race across the palate. The 2021 is wonderfully deep and fleshy yet retains terrific vibrancy from start to finish. Brisk saline undertones extend the resonant, salivating finish."
WINE SPECTATOR 93 POINTS - "Rich and gracefully structured, with lilting flavors of strawberry, pear, yeast roll and roasted nuts that linger on the lush finish."
