It has evolved hints of some dried, caramelized fruit and savory, musky forest floor, but its core is fresh and ready to unfurl over years of bottle age if desired. Oak aging involves French of with a mix of ages, adding subtle, integrated accents of vanilla, cedar, clove, cinnamon and anise, and enhancing the dried blonde tobacco character typical to Roda's wines. With its elegantly structured, savory-toned finish, this is a fantastic wine for lamb and venison, or simply a prime ribeye!
