Giachini is a vineyard in La Morra, in the northwest part of the Barolo that's known for elegantly-styled wines with softer tannins and soft red -fruit tones.
Revello's winemaking involving small French oak barrels, which imparts a slightly darker, richer character to the core of their Barolo, though they are careful to ensure that the woody, spicy, gourmand notes of oak complement (rather than smother) the well-defined Nebbiolo character they've created. This is a crowd-pleaser while remaining true to the Barolo name!
