Planted in 1940 - these are Remi’s oldest vines. Nose has spice - but you can sense the density too. Wonderful impression from the off. There is a 'peak inside' with this one, less tightly wound you can already sense the potential. Although masses of concentration - it gives something away - with deep charred citrus notes and wonderful grapefruit freshness. Some minerality too. Mouth-watering racy finish.
