A caramel-flavored whiskey from R6 Distillery of El Segundo, California — the veteran- and family-owned craft distillery founded in 2014 by Rob Rubens, named for the west-coast spirit of Carmel-by-the-Sea. A smooth whiskey base wrapped in caramel character: vanilla and sweet corn on the nose, caramel corn and salted caramel on the palate with light chocolate and rye spice, finishing with caramel and a touch of cinnamon.
