Quilt sourced fruit from Napa Valley AVA including: Oakville, St Helena, Atlas Peak, Coombsville, Calistoga, and Howell Mountain, and was aged in 70% new French oak barrels. Its deep, dark ruby red color is followed by aromas of black currant, bright cherry, toffee, blackberry, marionberry pie and notes of dark chocolate. Rich and satisfying with flavors of boysenberry jam, black cherry pie filling, and cocoa layered with notes of vanilla and hazelnut, this is a full-bodied Cabernet with layers of concentrated black fruit, bright acidity and excellent balance. This stellar vintage is represented in this rich, aromatic and smooth wine. The finish is long, velvety and satisfying. Try this alongside prime rib with sautéed mushrooms, pepper crusted grilled lamb, or short ribs with garlic polenta.
