History,
ARTE is a new, exclusive range from PUNI, each batch hand selected from PUNI’s inventory by the distillery’s founders. With each of these distinct and limited editions, PUNI embraces the adventure of experimentation and seeks to create individual taste profiles that showcase the art of Italian whisky making outside of the PUNI core range. Edition 1, the first release in the ARTE series, was distilled from a combination of barley, wheat, and rye, and aged for 6 years and 9 months in a combination of 1st-fill ex-bourbon and ex-Islay casks. The result is a whisky that expresses notes of citrus and custard with compelling counterpoints of sea spray and salt. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 43% ABV, a total of 3900 bottles were produced.
