The cooperative of family growers who make up the Produttori del Barbaresco created the eponymous wine region in 1894 rather than continue to sell their Nebbiolo grapes to the nearby Barolo. Today they have numerous well-known single-vineyard reserve bottlings, while the classic yellow-label Barbaresco we're offering is made to reflect the growing season in a more approachably balanced fashion.
