ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 93 POINTS - "Pride's 2023 Syrah blends estate fruit with purchased fruit from cooler portions of Sonoma County and incorporates 3% co-fermented Viognier and 2% Grenache. While barrel-aged, there's no new oak and only 5% second-use barrels; the rest of the barrels are older. The result reveals some nice peppery nuances and gentle herbal notes to go along with cherries and blueberries. It's medium- to full-bodied, quite fine and elegant, with silky-textured tannins. Like a really nice St-Joseph, it possesses some structure but not too much, making it approachable now while having the ability to age a decade or more."
