Drawing upon their highly skilled winemaking team, Pine Ridge crafted this wine using up to seven premiere vineyards, with 41% coming from Solano County, 36% from Sonoma County, and 23% from their winery home in Napa County. After fermentation and 14 months ageing in 40% new oak, all the separate vineyard lots were meticulously blended with the aim to create a wine with layers of fruit, complexity, plush texture and approachable upon release.
This is only the second release, and aromas of bright fruit flavors of wild cherry, strawberry, and fig primarily fill up the glass layered with sweet vanilla and brown sugar in the background. Traveler’s has a bright entry layered with quince paste, a lush midpalate, followed by a mouthwatering firm tannin finish. Enjoy over the next 10 years.
