WINERY NOTES: Lieu-dit: “Les Mottelettes”, a 60-year-old Chardonnay vine located in the heart of the Grand Cru vineyard of Bouzy and produced using massal selection. This wine expresses itself in a bold and generous style, with notes of citrus and white fruits. The Mottelettes were aged in barrels, corked for secondary fermentation and spent 4.5 years on lees before disgorging."
JAMES SUCKLING 95 POINTS - "This minerally, saline Champagne shows restrained power. Aromas of crushed stones, fresh croissants, grapefruit, honeysuckle and peach pits follow through to a medium-bodied, dry and focused palate with a creamy mousse and a long, saline finish. Chardonnay from old vines in Bouzy."
