Sign of the Times is a reflection of the uncanny moment we find ourselves in. For this label, Dave was inspired by an AI model which took his past artwork and generated new interpretations. Going back and forth, the model and Dave prompted each other to reflect on the past while using it as a starting point for a new experiment.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Grenache, an opaque fuchsia core and a crimson laced rim introduces 2023 Sign of the Times. Pleasing aromatics with notes of black plum, black currant and dark chocolate abound. The palate is plush with blue fruits, cassis, licorice and sweet oak. Supple tannins keep the wine approachable in its youth while the balancing acidity gives it some aging potential.
