Chaumes has 60 year old vigorous vines, Chambres is pinot fin, 15-year-old. A deepish crimson ruby colour. The fruit is altogether fresher than the Bourgogne. A fine even crunch to the finish, the pinot fin takes over at the back, to make a really pretty red Chassagne. "
