WINERY NOTES - 2022 is the fifth vintage of Pitures, a mid-slope vineyard which borders Pommard and Marquis d’Angerville’s Clos des Ducs. Domaine Lafarge also has a holding here. The earliest record of this lieu-dit is in the 13th century. The name probably derived from ‘pasture’. A wine of focused red berry fruit, with an elegant tenderness on the mid-palate, which is framed by fine, chalky tannins and sustained by lively, fresh acidity. Very classical, very accomplished. 13% abv.
