From the house founded in 1888 by Spyros Metaxa in Piraeus, Greece — a blend of fine wine distillates, sweet Muscat wine from the island of Samos, and an infusion of Mediterranean botanicals including rose petals and herbs, married and aged 7 years in Limousin oak (the stars mark the years of maturation). Amber with copper reflections.
Nose: Ripe peach, prune, dried flowers, and citrus.
Palate: Sweet mature fruits and toffee, with the highest percentage of Muscat wine in the Stars range.
Finish: Prolonged and generous.
