ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 92 POINTS - "After steadily honing his winemaking experience in Santa Barbara County and establishing his eponymous label in 2002, McPrice "Mac" Myers eventually moved to Paso Robles, where he is now a co-owner of an estate vineyard, production facility and hospitality area in the Adelaida District. In addition to the estate site, fruit sources are split between Paso Robles and Santa Barbara County, notably Paper Street and Larner Vineyard. The wines are robust and powerful while remaining admirably nimble and relatively restrained. This project has undeniable allure and has garnered considerable momentum, making for an impressive addition to western Paso Robles."
"The 2022 Beautiful Earth Cabernet Sauvignon includes 12% Syrah and 6% Petite Verdot, aged in 65% new French oak. The color and nose both clearly show the addition of these varieties, with an opaque concentration and aromas of mocha, espresso, black fruit compote and caramelized oak. The palate follows as expected from this introduction, with an intensely plush and voluptuous texture and a tight, firm finish of fine-grained oak-derived tannins."
