WINERY NOTES - This wine comes from the plots of Domaine Marcel Deiss managed in coplantation and located on the Riquewihr finage (localities Engelsreben and Rosenbourg) managed biodynamically. The superficial siliceous structure of these terroirs, resting on deep marls, gives us an extremely salivating wine that is precise, full-bodied, thick, aristocratic and cold in its early youth, but fleshy. Complete and very long to age. This is the complex message of a vibrant fruit from a cold and deep soil.
RIQUEWIHR speaks of geological time, the aristocratic depth of the Marls and the childlike vibration of the superficial Quaternary sediments. The central dancing salivation, cold and thick, that it provides, will benefit from the passing of time.
