What do you get when you combine the palate of a Master Sommelier with arguably the premiere winegrowing family in Monterey? You get a Syrah that brings a smile to our faces year after year!

Luli represents a partnership formed by Sara Floyd and the Pisoni Family. Sara Floyd is a Master Sommelier with many years of food and wine experience. She was only the 10th woman in the world to earn that title, and has also worked alongside the likes of Larry Stone and Wolfgang Puck. The Pisoni Family is known for their eponymous vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands and for Pisoni Estate and Lucia wines. It was Gary Pisoni who refused to listen to those who doubted that high-quality Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah could be grown on the slopes of the Santa Lucia Mountains. Flash forward to today and the Pisoni Family are regarded as the best growers in the county!

JEB DUNNUCK 91 POINTS - "A smoking value, the 2023 Syrah Santa Lucia Highlands offers a beautiful, Northern Rhône-like nose of juicy blackberries, bouquet garni, violets, and smoky, gamey, peppery nuances. Medium-bodied and broad on the palate, it has a layered mouthfeel and a great finish. Competing with many Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage bottlings, it will shine for a solid decade."

ANTONIO GALLONI'S VINOUS MEDIA 90 POINTS - "Red-fruited and savory, the 2023 Syrah is a powerful young wine with considerable structure. That said, it’s surprisingly light on its feet. Ripe pomegranate, toasty oak spice and lifted eucalyptus tones blast through the drying, chalky finish. The 60% whole clusters are a little out in front today, amplifying the Syrah’s peppery stamp. There’s a lot to like here, but the 2023 is not an easygoing wine for near-term enjoyment. Hopefully, the tannins will soften before the fruit begins to fade. "
