This beautiful cognac was made in honor of Louis Jolliet, a French Canadian explorer whose multiple explorations were instrumental in the establishment of North America. Among his several expeditions, his discovery of the upper Mississippi River in 1673 was most certainly his greatest achievement.
Jolliet's strong character, boundless thirst for adventure and perseverance in pushing his limits and discovering new lands is perfectly expressed in this fine and exclusive cognac.
Color: copper with light amber hues
Nose: Light floral notes of vine flower and lime tea, followed by candied fruits (grape, citrus, pear, plum…), finally leading into sweet notes of vanilla and hot pastry
Palate: Round and well balanced with a lot of candied fruits, spicy vanilla, almonds and spices
