LOS VECINOS TOBALA MEZCAL 750ML

At Casa San Matías, in Oaxaca, Mexico, the Villarreal family honors centuries-old distilling traditions with their exquisite Los Vecinos del Campo mezcals. Generations of families in the surrounding villages work as neighbors to create these artisanal, sophisticated, yet wild mezcals. This mezcal is made using maguey Tobala. We love the earthy, loamy, minerally aromas followed by tropical fruit notes (pineapple, mango, banana) and light but present spice. The palate reiterates the nose faithfully and it’s a delightful sipper. A hint of salt air and smoke, plantain and more mango round out the finish.
