Longrow C.V. is a unique version of Springbank’s heavily peated single malt. Introduced in 2008, Longrow C.V. is made up of a variety of casks and ages: the blend consists of heavily peated whiskies aged between 6 and 14 years in ex-bourbon, ex-rum and ex-sherry casks. The expression was discontinued in 2014. Longrow C.V. is a fresh and fruity single malt, with citrus fruits and maritime hints of salty sea breeze. It slowly increases in smokiness, becoming more intense on the finish.
